Connecting Prodeal to Claude

Written by Judy Ann Vargas

Prodeal's MCP server lets you connect your Prodeal account to Claude so you can interact with your deal rooms directly from the Claude interface. Setup takes a few minutes and requires two steps: an org admin enables MCP access for the organization, and then each user enables it for their own account.

Step 1: Enable MCP Access for Your Organization

This step must be completed by an org admin before any users can connect.

  1. Log in to Prodeal and go to Account > Organization Dashboard.

  2. Select Security.

  3. Under Security Options, find MCP Access and toggle it on.

Once enabled, users in your organization can proceed with their individual setup.

Step 2: Enable MCP Access for Your Account

  1. Go to Account > Account Settings.

  2. Select Password and Security.

  3. Toggle on MCP Access.

Step 3: Add Prodeal as a Connector in Claude

  1. Open Claude and go to Customize > Connectors.

  2. Click Add Connector, then select Add Custom Connector.

  3. Give it a name (e.g., Prodeal) and enter the following MCP server URL: mcp.prodeal360.com

  4. Click Add.

Note: Prodeal is not yet listed in the Anthropic Connector Store. In the meantime, use the custom connector option above. We'll update this article once the native connector is available.

Step 4: Authorize Claude to Access Your Prodeal Account

After adding the connector, Claude will prompt you to authorize access. Prodeal will display a consent screen explaining what data Claude can access. Review the details and click Grant Access.

Once authorized, Claude will display all available Prodeal tools — confirming the connection is live.

Using Prodeal in Claude

Open a new chat in Claude and ask anything related to your Prodeal account. A few examples to get started:

  • "List my active rooms."

  • "What's outstanding on the checklist for [deal name]?"

  • "Show me the folder structure for [room name]."

You can also combine Prodeal with other connected tools — for example, pulling checklist status from Prodeal and drafting a follow-up email in Gmail.

Troubleshooting

I don't see the MCP Access toggle in my account settings.
Your org admin may not have enabled MCP access at the organization level yet. Ask them to complete Step 1 first.

Claude isn't showing any Prodeal tools after I connected.
Try disconnecting and re-adding the custom connector, making sure the URL is entered exactly as shown (mcp.prodeal360.com). Also confirm that both the org-level and account-level toggles are active.

I'm getting an authorization error.
Your session token may have expired. Disconnect the connector in Claude, re-add it, and go through the authorization flow again.
