Enable MFA on your account

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) provides stronger security for your ProDeal account by requiring a second step of verification when you sign in. MFA is available for all users with ProDeal accounts, unless you use Single-Sign-On.

  1. Click on the Account Management Icon in the lower left corner of any ProDeal page.

  2. Click Account Settings.

3. This will take you to our Account Management Page. Click on the Password & Security settings tab.

4. Click on the Setup MFA button.

There are 2 options to set up MFA

1. Receive the code by email (recommended). You will receive a code in your email to sign in.

To set up, after clicking the next button, you will receive an email containing a 6-digit code. Then enter the given code to set up your email-based MFA.

The next time you attempt to log in, ProDeal will require an MFA PIN. Open your Email account and enter the provided PIN to authenticate and finish logging in.

2. Use an Authenticator app. You will generate a code from the authenticator app to sign in.

At this point, you will need to download a mobile authenticator app. We recommend using Google Authenticator, but you can also choose to use any MFA-compatible device or service approved by your company that can scan an MFA QR code.

To finish the setup, scan the QR code on your screen and enter the PIN to confirm the connection.

The next time you attempt to log in, ProDeal will require an MFA PIN. Open your MFA authenticator app and enter the provided PIN to authenticate and finish logging in.
