Marking a document as Final allows you to distinguish final documents from drafts. It is also a prerequisite to creating a closing set of documents or a closing binder.
Mark a document as Final directly from your checklist
- Locate the document in your checklist by scrolling or using the search bar or filters.
- Click the actions menu to the right of any document and select the Mark as Final option.
This will give a document a "FINAL" designation to help you distinguish from other draft documents throughout the checklist.
Mark a document as Final from the document viewer
- Locate the document in your checklist by scrolling or using the search bar or filters.
- Open the document on ProDeal by clicking it.
- Click the Mark as Final button in the top right corner.
Reverting documents to Draft directly from your checklist
- Locate the document marked as Final in your checklist by scrolling or using the search bar or filters.
- Click the actions menu to the right of any document and select the Revert to Draft option.
Reverting documents to Draft from the document viewer
- Locate the document marked as Final in your checklist by scrolling or using the search bar or filters.
- Open the document on ProDeal by clicking it.
- Click the Revert to Draft button in the top right corner.
